“Hero pro contractors just finished up and I am super happy. Plus I've been looking for a good general contractor for a while now and I just found gold here. The two technicians today Andrew and Karsten really sold me on the company. If you need this type of work done and a range of services done by a general contractor do yourself a favor and hire these guys. Also I only contacted them for the first time yesterday they came today gave me the estimate and now they're done with the work. Pretty amazing huh? Joseph. Forgot to add I have asked them for a quote to add a secondary air conditioning unit to my upstairs music studio and I expect to start that work within the next few weeks. Really excited about this project because that bonus room is been hot hot in the Summers for way too long.”

“These guys are seriously underselling themselves. They’re craftsmen. The quality and speed with which they get the job done is truly impressive. We recently bought a mid-century house in Franklin that had a lot of deferred maintenance and finish work that needed to be completed. Hero Pro Services, provided a quote and the following week delivered the work. While they were here I discovered that they also do plumbing, HVAC and electrical work. They are our new go-to guys for all the weekend projects (and capital projects) that I tell my wife “honey I can do this“. Their prices are reasonable and the work is top-notch. Be a hero and call Hero Pro Services. Your wife will be glad you did and, trust me, so will you.”

“Karsten did a great job on a small, but tricky broken door frame, and he didn’t leave until it was right. I am happy with the prompt service, easy and honest communication, good price, and quality work. We will call Hero Pro again!”

Frequently asked questions
- How much does HVAC repair cost in Columbia?
- HVAC repair costs vary based on the issue. Simple repairs like thermostat replacement or capacitor replacement typically range $150–$400, while more complex repairs involving refrigerant leaks, motors, or compressors can range $400–$1,500+. We provide clear diagnostic pricing upfront so you know what to expect before we start work.
- Do you offer same-day HVAC service in Columbia?
- Yes! We understand that HVAC emergencies can't wait, especially during Columbia's hot summers or cold winter nights. We offer same-day service for most emergency repairs in Columbia and Maury County. Call us at 615-499-3019 and we'll do our best to get a technician to your home quickly.
- What HVAC brands do you service?
- We service all major HVAC brands including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, York, American Standard, Bryant, Daikin, and more. Our technicians are trained to work on both modern high-efficiency systems and older residential HVAC equipment.
- How often should I schedule HVAC maintenance in Columbia?
- We recommend twice-yearly HVAC maintenance in Columbia, once in spring before cooling season and once in fall before heating season. Columbia's climate extremes (hot, humid summers and occasional cold winters) put extra stress on HVAC systems, making regular tune-ups especially important for preventing breakdowns and maintaining efficiency.
- Do you work on older homes in downtown Columbia?
- Absolutely. Columbia's historic downtown area features beautiful older homes, many dating back to the 1800s and early 1900s. These homes present unique HVAC challenges, limited space for ductwork, plaster walls, architectural considerations, and sometimes outdated systems. We specialize in upgrading and servicing HVAC systems in historic homes while preserving their character.
- What’s the best HVAC system for a Columbia home?
- The best HVAC system depends on your home's size, age, insulation, ductwork, and your budget. For most Columbia homes, high-efficiency heat pumps or gas furnaces with AC offer reliable year-round comfort. Homes without existing ductwork may benefit from ductless mini-split systems. We perform detailed assessments to recommend the right system for your specific needs and Columbia's climate.
